Keep working. Keep trying. Keep believing. You still might not make it, but at least you gave it your best shot. If you don’t have calluses on your soul, this isn’t for you. Take up knitting instead.
David Eddings

“Finish what you are writing. Whatever you have to do to finish it, finish it.” ~ Neil Gaiman

“If I don’t write to empty my mind, I go mad.” ~ Lord Byron

“You fail only if you stop writing.” ~ Ray Bradbury

True freedom is in imagination. In being able to leave one world and create another. Many can do this, writers just document their experiences in a way that invites others.

Too many writers think that all you need to do is write well—but that’s only part of what a good book is. Above all, a good book tells a good story. Focus on the story first. Ask yourself, ‘Will other people find this story so interesting that they will tell others about it?’ Remember: A bestselling book usually follows a simple rule, ‘It’s a wonderful story, wonderfully told’; not, ‘It’s a wonderfully told story.
